Hoa Binh honored with the title 'VIETNAM EXCELLENT BRAND"

The award ceremony to honor 98 typical businesses in the Vietnam Excellent Brand Program is to be held at the Opera House (Hanoi) and to be televised live on VTV1 at 9.30 am April 7th, 2007

This is the third time in three successive years 2004, 2005, 2006 Hoa Binh has had the honor to be awarded the title “Viet Nam Excellent Brand”. “Viet Nam Excellent Brand ” is the annual awards program jointly sponsored by the Vietnam EconomicsTimes and the Department of Trade Promotion (Ministry of Trade).After 3 years in operation the Awards Program has attracted the participation of more than 3,000 businesses representing all the branches in all fields nationwide.

Among these enterprises 98 have been named Vietnam’s excellent brands basing on the nomination of many of the Vietnam Economics Times readers as well as consumers in the whole country.

This year, unlike the previous years, the organizers received lists from all the provincial and municipal trade services in which typical enterprises in the localities were nominated. This has helped to enhance the popularity of the Awards and to attract the participation of the business community far and wide.

Basing on the 7 evaluation criteria (which include brand protection, quality of products and services, business results, leadership capacity, human resources, capacity of reforms, sustainability and stability of the enterprise), the organizing committee made an evaluation of the 283 nominated enterprises relying on the 3 following proofs:

1.The enterprise’s statements on its production activities and business results in the last three years;

2. A brand survey with questions intended for corporate leaders and staffs engaged directly in the building and developing the enterprise’s brand.

3.Questionnaire for customers and distributors who have utilized the enterprise’s goods and services. It is also noted that this year is the first time the financial capacity index and credit activity index of the enterprise concerned were taken into consideration besides the above-mentioned criteria for evaluation. The evaluation also received the cooperation from The Credit Information Center, Viet Nam State Bank.
