Accompanying poor and studious students
On 28th May 2011, Ho Chi Minh City Veteran Society and Ho Chi Minh City Television Station organized “Ho Chi Minh City Legendary Sea Road” program. During the program, audience had chance to hear veterans sharing their difficult routes from North to South to receive weapons on wooden boats (referred to as No Number Boats). Hoa Binh Construction & Real Estate Corporation supported a fund of VND 20 million for the program to help disadvantageous veterans.
Also, Le Mong Dao Education Support Fund awarded 15 scholarships for Nguyen Duc Canh Scholarship Program organized by District 3 Labor League, each scholarship equivalent to VND 700,000. The program aims to encourage and commend staff employees’ children who have difficulties but always make great efforts in study.
